An Inovato Quadra Linux computer can be used to build a Ham Clock device for the Ham Shack. This inexpensive $40 computer provides a low cost alternative to the Raspberry Pi. The YouTube "Ham Clock. Installing, Configuring, and Walkthrough- Inovato Quadra for Ham Radio" by "Ham Radio Dude" W3DJS, looks at this alternative approach. KMR-400 vs. LMR-400 Comparison

A YouTube video by "K8MRD Radio Stuff" provides a comparison of 75` of LMR-400 coax vs. KMR-400 from Amazon. The KMR-400 has slightly higher loss. The cable comes with excellent waterproof connectors.

VarAC Chat Mode

Irad Deutsch, 4Z1AC has developed a new mode for HF chat. "VarAC is a FREE, modern HF P2P real-time chatting application for the amateur radio operator that leverages the VARA protocol". I have not tried this new mode but a demonstration on AmateurLogic.TV on April 15, 2022 looked interesting.
