In the last months, the club has sponsored a number of events that have brought us together for outdoor activities. There are many other amateur radio activities soon to occur in our area that I encourage members to attend.  I hope many of you  attend the special presentation at the Amelia Earhart Hanger and Museum in Atchison, KS, Aug 17th,  presented by the MO-KAN Council on Radio and Radio Propagation relating to solving the mysteries around Amelia's radio communications. https://ameliaearharthangarmuseum.org/all-events/   Be sure to get involved with the KS QSO Party on Aug 24 & 25th by signing up to operate, or just take advantage of visiting the elaborate installation at the Sawyer Antenna Farm (SAF).  Join Jim Andera at the Pony Express POTA, part of the annual Pony Express Festival on Aug 25th in Hollenburg, KS.
