The club had a very successful Field Day 2024, with great member participation and a surprising number of visitors joining in on the fun this year. Our activity also attracted visits from a number of families, and our information displays certainly caught the attention of the kids, with several excited about obtaining their licenses. Coming up are several more events you can participate in with club members: the Kansas QSO Party (August 24th and 25th) and the Pony Express Festival at Hollensberg, KS, later in August. (For more information on each, contact a club officer) Also, you'll want to be sure to join in on SFTARC Tech Night on July 25th to see Jim's presentation from the actual search and rescue operation he participated in with authorities in Wyoming.
