Web Site Status
Over the past month several updates to the sftarc.org web site were implemented. Most of the site menu items are now working as before. The only remaining functions to implement are the Membership Application and Ham Class Registration forms The Membership Application form should be finished in the next week or two (in the test stage now). Ham Class Registration is in draft form pending some additional changes.
The following menu items are now functional:
- On The Air / Nets (All sub menus)
- Roster (Members list)
Why Do I Need a User ID
Each member is encouraged to have a web site user ID for login to the site. Your membership application does not automatically create one for you. Normally the club secretary will create a user ID for you and send the details in an email. Please login with you temporary credentials and reset your password.
So what do it get access to when I login to the web site:
- Access to Club Zoom links
- Ability to publish articles in Newsletter, Trail Bytes (Tech Blog) and Club Event (requires additional privileges on request)
- Publish Web Links
- Edit your user info and subscriptions
- Also a user login is required to see the up to date online version of the newsletter from the newsletter email. Some devices (i.e. IPhone) do not display images from the newsletter to see them you need to click "Click here to view newsletter online" at the top of the email message.
The web site Help menu also has several articles to assist with article publishing and site features. Suggestions for additional help articles are always welcome.
