The 2026 Nixa ARC Hamfest is JUST 2 months away!  We will again be at the Victory Baptist Church at 252 N Nicholas Rd in Nixa and the doors open at 8:00 a.m.

 

VE Testing will be offered at 8:30 a.m. and NO pre-registration is required.

 

Associated Radio, D&L Antenna and Mike Hoffman Embroidery will be the commercial vendors for new equipment at this year's Hamfest.

 

We'll have three forums at this year's hamfest.  

9:00 a.m. – Missouri Repeater Council annual meeting by James Adkins, KB0NHX – President.  James will conduct a short business meeting to elect or re-elect officer positions up for election, report annual expenses, give an update on repeater coordinations since the 2025 annual meeting, and discuss methods and purposes for linking repeaters and highlight some of the linked systems around the state.

10:00 a.m. – Southwest Missouri Regional SkyWarn presentation by co-coordinator Preston Roesslet, KE0JGH
Preston will highlight how SWMO Regional SKYWARN connects amateur radio operators and trained storm spotters across Southwest Missouri during severe weather. He’ll explain how the organization operates, how reports are
relayed to the National Weather Service, and how YOU can get involved!

11:00 a.m. – All Star presentation by Fred McGuire, KF5FMU, aka Freddie Mac! Fred is also known as the "Ham Radio Crusader"  Freddie Mac is the go to person for all Star in the Ham Radio World and this will be a presentation you won't want to miss!

Talk in will be on the SMLRS, and locally to the hamfest that will be on 147.015+ PL 162.2 Hz.  Once you arrive on site, the portable SMLRS repeater will be available on 146.595- PL 71.9 Hz which will also be linked to the SMLRS 

Breakfast and Lunch will again be available on site for your convenience and we hope everyone will take some time to enjoy the food at this year's hamfest as well.
