Amateur Radio Station KØASA will operate as an 1860s-style Telegraph Office during the annual Hollenberg Pony Express Station Festival.
- Sunday, August 25, 2019 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. CDT
- Frequencies: 3.545, 7.045, 14.045 & 14.285 MHz
- For the benefit of the more local stations wanting to contact the special event, KØASA will be operating on 80 Meters at 2 pm CDT as well as at other unscheduled times.
We will be operating from the grounds of the historic Hollenberg Pony Express Station (1 mile east of Hanover KS on Hwy 243).

Operated by the Kansas State Historical Society, this Pony Express Station is thought to be the only Pony Express station in the nation that has been preserved and left on the original location. The festival includes early-American exhibits and activities.
