Club Business Meetings

Club business meetings are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month. Members can attend the meeting in person at the Gardner Perkins or they can attend virtually via Zoom; meetings start at 8:00 AM. Please contact one of the club officers if you wish to receive the Zoom link.

Membership

Membership in the Santa Fe Trail Amateur Radio Club is open to all currently licensed Hams and to anyone who is interested in becoming a Ham. We hope that everyone who chooses to become a member will choose to participate in our activities. Of course, you are not under any obligation to do so.

The club does require a membership fee, as shown on the application, to help cover the club's expenses such as operation of the club's three repeaters and annual events.

Meeting Notes

Meeting notes for past club meetings are archived on the website as part of the monthly newsletter.

Events

The club participates in several events during the year.  Key on-the-air events are Kansas Day, KS QSO Party, and Field Day. Event schedules are posted on the club calendar available on the main menu of this website.

Repeaters

The 2M, 220 and 440 repeaters are currently operating at low power in temporary locations until a new site is acquired.

The SFTARC operates 3 amateur repeaters (KA0FMZ -147.24 RPTR - Olathe, KS, W0QQ -224.940 RPTR - Olathe, KS, KE5BR - 442.200 RPTR - Olathe, KS) for the use of club members and any Ham. Links to the information for these repeaters is on the Home page. Users are asked to follow the rules found in the General Repeater Practices document.
