The Raspberry Pi is a small inexpensive Linux based computer that is well suited for Amatuer Radio applications that require computing power and/or networking capability. The Raspberry Pi is paired with an Arduino board where control of physical interfaces is required.
Over the last few years several models of the Raspberry PI have been created. The most current model is the Raspberry Pi Model 3B which offers significant improvements in processor, memory and interfaces.
The May 2016 Tech Night presentation provided details on the device, it's history and specific Amatuer applications including a list of web links.
