When it rains it pours, literally. The 10 inches of rain a few weeks ago flooded the club trailer. Thanks to Jim Cessna, Del Sawyer, George McCarville, Ed Kurtz and Mike Costello for their hard work at cleaning up the trailer. Ed made his driveway and garage available for the clean up. Thanks to Jim Andera for testing the 2M rig and the Astron power supply. The 2M rig rig is not repairable and very likely the generator. The Coax and AC cables appear to be OK.

The Kansas QSO party was successful again this year. Planning continues for our yearly Ham Radio classes. 

Our club web site "" will be moving to a new server and web CMS system this fall. Before we commit to the design any inputs on needed changes or enhancements would be appreciated. Please check out the development/test site for the new web site at, suggestions are welcome.

Tech Night will be held on September 15 at the New Century Fire Station. Check the club calendar for details. Tech Night presenters are encouraged to provide an article for our newsletter.
